The international name for Germans people is the german term ger-manni that indicated the most ancient European peoples living since ever in the German plain, who recognized themselves with the german term thiudiskaz standing for all the members of the originary people. In effect, Germans have always considered themselves as a family of tribes speaking the same group of German indoeuropean language and referring to the same ancient roots.

What's the origin of Germans? They arrived in Europe in late Neolithic age coming from the Caucasus mountains (according to mythology) and spreaded all along the northern Baltic sea coasts and settling in particular in the historical region of Gothaland. From where they moved in II millennium B.C. towards the estauries of the Rhin, the Elbe and the Vistula rivers, splitting in the 3 groups of western, eastern and northern Germans and producing the 'Funnel Beaker' culture. That probably happened cause of the settlement of the Vikings in the Scandinavian area, one of the most relevant event in the whole history of european integration: once on the continental lands, Germans populated all the homonymous plain where adopted an essential agriculture cause of their seminomad condition and the limitated fertility of the ground, hunting and picking the natural food available.

Things changed when Central Europe was occupied by the Celts since X century B.C., who brough the Halstatt culture organized agricultural cultures and got in touch with the previous peoples settled: at that point Germans invaded that area and formed the several tribes narrowed by the Romans writers, cause of a new movements from North of the Danes tribes that occupied the Jutland and Jylland and South Norway regions coming from the historical region of Skania. Germans were characterized by phehotype of blonde or light red hair with large percentage of clear eyes and white skin, quite different from the typical Caucasian anthropologic human group.

The descending of Germans and Gohts towards the Limes of the Roman Empire has been one of the turning points of the history of european integration: Romans had to build hundreds of new castra to defend their territory, that later became some of the most important civitas of United Europe. Many Germanic tribes went destroyed and cancelled, while others allied to Roman Empire until the V century A.D. so to receive few provinces where settle and live in peace. It happened with the Franks and Batavi in the Germania Inferior and with the Suebis and Alamanni in the Germania Superior, while the Goths tribes started to penetrate the Limes in Pars Oriensis spredaing among Pannonia, Moesia and Tracia provinces until they came out with many blitz to the rich roman civitas often looted and burned: then, the Westgoths received a foedus in the Novem Populi diocesis, while Burgunds obtained the Viennensis province, whereas the Vandali occupied the Africa's provinces and the Rugii the Illyria and Pannonia province, until the invasion of Italiae Diocesis by the Ostrogoths provoked the collaspe of the Western Empire in 476 A.D..

With the Germans began the formation of the European reigns and states: Angles, Jutes and Saxons gave origin to England Regnum and founded the cities of Oxford, Brighton, Westiminster and Dhuram; the Saxons remained in the homonymous historical region, together with Franks and Suebi-Alamanni and Turingians and Bavari, so constituted the first Germany federated reign in 911 A.D., joining their homonymous historical regions and founding the new cities of Frankfurt, Worms, Speyer and Aachen; once the Franks had conquered the whole ancient Gallia diocesi, they formed the regna became the actual France state, while Batavi and Frisons formed the the Netherlands provinces. Germans settled definitely also in Switzerland, Austria, Bohemia and western Poland especially during the Reich Empire age, under the rule of the main european genealogies of Carolingians, Ottonians, Salians, Staufer, Habsburg, Wettin, Hohenzollern, Askanidi, Wittelsbach and Luxembourg. The Goths contribuited to form the ispanian christian reigns that fought for the Reconquista and finally formed the Spain kingdom, and so they did the Lombards and Burgunds royal dinasties in Italy and France.

Out of the Imperium area the Germans formed the scandinavian states of Norway, Sweden, Denmark and Iceland, founding the cities of Bergen, Trondheim, Oslo, Ribe, Odense, Copenaghen, Leicester, Lincoln, Birka, Uppsala, Stockolm and Goteborg. In XX century A.D. millions of Germans migrated towards America and formed great communities in USA, Canada, Brazil and Argentina while others went to Australia and South Africa (the tribe of Boeris). Many other Germans people live since centuries in Russia and the Baltic states, in Hungary and Romania, in Italy and France.
